In our interpretation the philosophy of wabi-sabi is complemented by personal experience and vision. The basic function of our tables is quite utilitarian, but the idea is a little more subtle and intimate. We believe that these objects help their owners to find a deeper connection with their home and to see what they lack most at the moment in simple things.
We want to bring back the tradition of using furniture objects for decades and passing them down to futher generations. Things that fill people with the energy of nature. That is what inspired us to create this coffee table. Sea pebbles, gently shaped by the warm waves of the sea, were the main inspiration to all the pieces in the Stone Story collection.
